ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day 

ANZAC day is when we remember the people that went to war. 

 

ANZAC day takes place on the 25th April.

On the 25th April 1915 was the day the Gallipoli campaign started  

It was a tragic battle, and changed the face of New Zealand forever.

You can celebrate ANZAC day by going to dawn services or church. It is important that we continue to pay our respects for those who fell for our country.

The Pinnacles
Stairs, stairs and more stairs thats what
the Pinnacles gave me. The gigantic three and a half hour walk made my legs ache, but when I got up to the lodge I found out we were going to walk up the Pinnacles! To be honest the rest of us weren't too happy either. When I mean “the rest of us” I mean the kids, Luka, Enzo and Kellan. Finally we annoyed the adults soooo much they left it to tomorrow. My Mum

My mom's eyes are deep,mysterious and blue like the sea.She is like a smiling god , while her Rapunzel like hair is showing off the rest of her beauty.Whenever mum is angry she gives me a stern look, staring into my soul. Mum walks with our dog Pino everyday up Mount Iron. She is almost always busy,but still has time to have fun with me. She is a medium size  for an adult ,but still closest to tall compared to me.

She wears a colourful dress if she is happy,  or going to a party or her favourite jersey which suits her when its cold. She wears her dark sunglasses that cover her eyes for when it’s hot .

She is fun,fit and makes yummy organic things for me and her to eat.She loves outside sports,activities and baking because it’s fun.She has a awesome personality,caring and loving.From morning to night she is thinking about how to make fun for me and her.

I love her till the earth ends.

The School Triathlon

Scotty.

He had blues eyes and he was bald.He was quite small and had a lot of koru  tattoos. All he wore was board shorts no matter what temperature it was.

He was married to Faye and had four kids.He also had a big dog called Floyd, who was an extra large, slobbery, great dane. We would take Floyd for walks in the morning.Floyd would always take pees on pretty much every tree he saw.

Scotty always said naughty words when we put our feet on the couch and when the biggest loser television show came on.

At night we’d whack cane toad with cricket bats or golf clubs.We would go fishing in the sea and go for smims in his pool on hot days.Scotty had coolest car ever.

Scotty was the best.
